We are looking for a Mobile Phlebotomist who can play a key role in supporting patient care.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Conduct in-home blood draws for patients, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. Occasionally blood draws will happen at our CHC partner sites.
- Secure blood samples and transport them to our designated lab partner following established protocols.
- Assist patients in setting up technology for telehealth visits, ensuring a seamless virtual healthcare experience.
- Conduct other medical intake processes, including measuring blood pressure and gathering relevant health information.
- Make daily home visits, maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and patient care.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- Certification: Active Nationally Registered Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NRCPT) certification (or willingness to achieve and maintain this certification at AndHealth’s expense) required.
- Licensure: Valid state-issued driver’s license from the state of your residence with no limitations.
- Education: Undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), firefighter, and/or phlebotomist.
- Proven ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds in various domestic settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients.
- Reliable transportation is essential for traveling to patients' homes.
- Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and healthcare practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Additional Requirements:
- Tuberculosis (TB) Screening: Documentation of a negative screening conducted within the last 12 months.
- Hepatitis B: Proof of a completed vaccine series or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR): Proof of a completed vaccine series or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Varicella (Chickenpox): Proof of vaccination, documented medical history of the disease, or positive blood titers from within the last 12 months.
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis): Documentation of a booster administered within the last 10 years.
- Influenza: Proof of vaccination for the current flu season.
- COVID-19: Documentation of primary vaccine series and any boosters administered.
- General: Additional health requirements may be requested as necessary.
