We are looking for a Specialty Accreditation, Implementation & Training Lead to manage the process of URAC and ACHC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation with our partners while supporting the training and development of our Pharmacy employees.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Guide our partners through the entire URAC and ACHC Accreditation process by conducting regular meetings, providing education, presenting status updates, identifying remaining needs, and ensuring that all required deadlines are met.
  • Complete the URAC/ACHC application process for our partners and facilitate the completion of all required contracts.
  • Complete ACHC Preliminary Evidence Reviews and URAC AccreditNet submissions on behalf of our partners.
  • Provide specialized training for internal and external employees as they prepare URAC Validation Reviews and ACHC Surveys. 
  • Complete ongoing in-person and remote Pharmacy Operations and Patient Management mock audits.
  • Schedule Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee meetings with our partners, prepare all required materials and reports, analyze trends, and document comprehensive meeting minutes.
  • Compile and complete annual Quality Program Evaluations for our pharmacy partner locations.
  • Support the URAC Data Validation process on behalf of our partners.
  • Ensure prompt review and investigation of Incident Tickets in tracking software.
  • Manage the Accreditation module within training software to ensure ongoing compliance with URAC and ACHC requirements at our partner locations.
  • Maintain readiness for continuous accreditation, not only survey cycles, including proactive document updates, SOP reviews, and compliance monitoring.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for accreditation readiness, training effectiveness, and compliance performance.
  • Attend training provided by URAC, ACHC, and other industry stakeholders to remain informed of upcoming changes and best practices around Pharmacy Quality and Accreditation.
  • Update and manage project plans in - current project tracker.
  • Manage the curriculum and timeline for training for all new Patient Engagement Specialists and other roles as needed.
  • Conduct remote and in-person training sessions.
  • Deploy required training modules in software for all pharmacy personnel.
  • Develop training modules, resources, SOPs, policies and procedures, and guides to help streamline the training process and productivity of our team members.
  • Complete routine patient record audits in TherigySTM to ensure ongoing compliance with Accreditation Standards and support the development of our employees.
  • Manage and maintain staff's competency assessments for the accreditation process, including annual refreshers and documentation.
  • Develop and manage skills-based training pathways for new accreditation coordinators and pharmacy team members.
  • Create and maintain a playbook for a standardized approach to the accreditation process.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education & Licensure Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Earning the ACHC Certified Consultant credential within the first year of employment is required.

Other Skills or Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with URAC and ACHC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation is required.
  • Must be willing to travel to partner locations and our office in Columbus, Ohio to support Accreditation efforts and staff training. Estimated amount of travel is up to 50%.
