Director, Growth Initiatives
Full Time
Columbus, OH
AndHealth is on a mission to radically improve access and outcomes for the most challenging chronic health conditions with the goal of making world-class specialty care accessible and affordable to all. We partner with health systems, community health centers, plans, and employers to remove barriers to care to ensure all people have access to the care they deserve.
We are looking for a Director, Growth Initiatives who can take bold ideas and turn them into real-world outcomes. This role is designed as a launchpad into the company — a chance to work side-by-side with our executive team, gain broad exposure across operations, partnerships, finance, clinical programs, and product, and deliver visible results that shape the future of our business. The ideal candidate is someone who can identify game-changing ideas, influence and direct change, and turn that into real outcomes. You'll own initiatives that travel from concept to launch.
We want someone who thrives in ambiguity, gets their hands dirty, and is energized by hard problems. If you are motivated by solving tough problems, learning quickly, and making a measurable impact, this role offers the opportunity to accelerate your career while advancing AndHealth’s mission.
This position will report to the VP, Growth Initiatives. In the absence of the VP, this position will report to the next level manager unless otherwise defined or assigned.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Partner and interface regularly with senior executives including the CEO, Chief Business Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, SVP of Product.
- Strategy to launch. Take complex new growth and program ideas from initial discovery through live solution — including the analysis, business plans, solution design, SOPs, and training that make it real and keep it running. Develop a plan to transition new initiatives to AndHealth’s pharmacy and clinical operations teams at the appropriate point in their lifecycle. Strategy Enablement: Take new strategies and programs from concept to implementation. Develop designs, SOPs, and training to bring initiatives to life (e.g., launching clinical programs for patients with complex medication needs).
- Data analytics and discovery. Spend significant time in the data to understand what's working and what's not — and communicate those findings clearly across stakeholders, including our executive team. You're not waiting for someone to hand you a question; you're finding the questions worth asking.
- Product Liaison: Partner with AndHealth’s product team and engineers to brainstorm and prioritize new feature requests for the AndHealth Care Team App and other systems. Guide the roll-out of new features and manage change across impacted team members in the organization.
- Partnership Development: Support AndHealth’s leadership team, developing new partnership models, proformas, preparing contracts, and guiding decision-making to enable the new programs and initiatives to scale.
- Team Facilitation: Act as a super-facilitator across the company, building expertise on each area of the business and convening relevant stakeholders to tackle novel, cross-cutting problems.
- Special projects. Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives — scoping the problem, navigating the interconnected layers of technology, pharmacy operations, clinical operations, partnerships, and patient experience, and driving to a finish without breaking things along the way.
- Meeting + Material Preparation: Support AndHealth’s leadership team in preparing for meetings, including gathering and organizing relevant materials, drafting agendas, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Graduate degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or related) preferred but not required.
Other Skills or Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a top-tier consulting firm or a high-performing growth environment.
- Track record of delivering complex projects and driving outcomes in ambiguous settings.
- Strong ability to structure problems, build frameworks, and communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- High attention to detail and ability to create operational tools and processes that drive clarity and accountability.
- Product management experience preferred.
- Team-first mindset: willing to dig in, roll up sleeves, and make things happen.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, partnerships, or program design.
Here’s what we’d like to offer you:
- Equal investment and support for our people and patients.
- A fun and ambitious growing environment with a culture that takes on important things, takes risks, and learns quickly.
- The ability to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and conscientiousness, and find joy in working together.
- A team of highly skilled, incredibly kind, and welcoming employees, every one of whom has something unique to offer.
