We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Cook to join our high-energy kitchen team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver world-class, health-conscious cuisine in a 100% gluten-free kitchen. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from a classically trained chef with more than 20 years of experience, including leadership in some of Columbus’ finest dining establishments and kitchens around the world. This position will report directly to our Executive Chef.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Partner with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality, health-conscious meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
- Assist in planning and executing a weekly menu that accommodates food allergies and intolerances while maintaining a 100% gluten-free kitchen.
- Prepare a broad range of meals from scratch using classic and modern cooking techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Support kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and readiness as the company continues to grow.
- Assist with onsite events hosted at AndHealth, including occasional evening and weekend events.
- Prepare leftovers and packaged “grab-and-go” dinners for employees working late.
- Monitor food safety standards, including Critical Control Points (CCPs), food temperatures, storage, and refrigeration compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and all food storage spaces according to established sanitation standards.
- Ensure equipment, cookware, dishes, and serving materials are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for service.
- Help manage inventory levels for food, beverages, and non-food kitchen supplies across dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage.
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy culinary environment with a shared commitment to hospitality and exceptional service.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or industrial kitchen setting.
- Ability to maintain a current ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- A sincere interest in health, wellness, and the AndHealth mission.

- Technical Skill: You have experience working in a professional kitchen environment and feel confident using industrial kitchen equipment and tools.
